31 Jan 2009I took a trip to ModelSport in Otley today, to try and sort out my Losi Mini-T. My 11.1v Lipo battery that cam with the original car was well and truly f*cked, so I ended up buying a new Losi 7.4v 2 cell Lipo.

30 Jan 2009An update on my Losi Mini-T project. I ordered a Losi Xceorin Brushless ESC from Ebay the other day and it arrived today. I do hope it’s OK. It looks brand new and I hope it’s good for the Dynamite motor that I’ve got to go with it. I now just need the new lipo to go with it but that’s out of stock everywhere right now. I’ve ordered one from the web, so we’ll see when it comes. 21 days till it needs to be in working order – no pressure.

29 Jan 20091-1. Again. The match against Wigan last night was so frustrating. I managed to watch the game live, and it was typical Liverpool this season. Dominate the game, go 1-0 up but can’t kill the game off and then the other team gradually come back into it.

29 Jan 2009Does anyone know of a Wordpress plugin that will reduce my images in size as and when I upload them? I cant find anything to do it. I’ve got a Canon EOS 400D and as you can imagine, the images are way to big to upload to a blog. I end up reszing them manually before upload.
Can anyone help?

28 Jan 2009I’m not an Apple fanboy, I’m really not. I use a PC for work and at home and I really don’t get this Apple/PC debate. To me, both serve their purpose. For style, go Mac, for price and flexibility, go PC.
Having said that, I love my Iphone. It’s one bit of technology that has truly changed the way I live my life.

27 Jan 2009The site went down this morning, along with rcfan.co.uk. My hosting provider, Clook, had, in their wisdom, decided to upgrade the cpanel software on their server, resulting in all my files going missing. Had I made a backup? No. Luckily, after delving around in the cpanel file manager, I was able to backup my files. A quick email off to support resolved the problem in around half an hour but it does illustrate the point that we should all backup our files regularly.
