Resurrecting The Micro-T

In: RC Cars

6 Nov 2009

Since I upgraded my Micro-T to brushless, it’s never worked properly.  The radio side of things was just so full of interference, the steering didn’t work properly and it was an alltogether unsatisfactory affair.  I think I did it on the cheap basically and although the Xcelorin motor and ESC are fine, the servo and stock receiver are less good.

So, I have today resurrected the project and ordered a SR3500 receiver for my Spektrum transmitter, in an effort to eliminate any interference from crystals etc.  Next step is a JR SM22 servo but that will have to come from the US I think.
Does anyone have any experience of this sort of upgrade?  I’d love to hear from you – I’ll be posting my upgrade experience on here very soon.
